To develop an unusual building for use as a classroom in the summer and a place for the children to use at playtime. It needed to enhance the playground surrounding and be made from natural materials.
The Empire Breeze House was installed and proved to be an immediate success. It enabled the children to have their lessons in the fresh air and benefit from protection from the suns rays. The natural materials added to the aesthetics of the whole area and it gave playtime an added dimension for the children. The surprise bonus was that it made an ideal shelter from the rain for parents waiting for their children to come out of school!
